Freelance marketing manager · Byron Bay
I'm a Jane of all trades, and for most businesses that's exactly the point. One person who can run the whole thing, do the actual work, and tell you the truth about what's worth doing.
Six years. Three countries. More than twenty businesses, from bathhouses to architecture studios.
The situation
Most business owners I meet are in the same spot. There's a list of things that should be happening. The emails, the socials, the website that's three years out of date, the launch that keeps slipping. It's not that you don't know it matters. It's that there's nobody to hand it to.
You could hire a specialist who does one of those things well and leaves the other nine on your desk. You could hire an agency, and pay for an account manager to sit between you and whoever is actually doing the work.
Or you could hand the whole thing to one person who can do all of it, and get on with running your business.
What I do
I started as a writer, which is why the strategy holds up. Everything else I learned because a client needed it and there was nobody else to do it.
Not every business needs all of it. Part of my job is telling you which parts you don't need yet.
Why me
Most businesses I come into aren't broken. They're just running with something missing, and everyone's got used to the wobble.
No account manager, no five suppliers to chase, no gaps between them where things quietly die. You brief once. It gets done.
I use AI properly, as a working tool held against real expertise rather than a quick copy and paste. Without expertise and critical thinking it's just more AI slop. I assess in detail what's worth doing and what's actually good enough to push out.
I keep a bench of freelancers I work with regularly. Designers, developers, admin, strategists. When a job is too big or too technical for one person, I bring them in, brief them and manage them. One point of contact, one invoice, and the work usually lands well under what the same roles would cost hired locally.
I'm not going to out-specialise a paid ads agency on paid ads. What I can do is see your whole business at once, work out where the actual bottleneck is, and then go and fix it myself.
Clients
Six years across two continents, and a client list that always surprises people.
A self-directed education platform and an architecture studio have almost nothing in common, except that both of them needed someone to work out what to say and then go and say it.

None of that was a redesign for its own sake. Every number traces back to a specific change, made in order of impact.
Where I fit
You know what needs doing. You don't have the hours, or the specific skill, or both. I step in and execute the parts you can't.
The marketing has gone quiet, or was never really started. We work out what the business actually is now, and rebuild from there.
You need a Jane of all trades who can pick up a client account and run it without hand holding. I've worked agency side and I know how to fit into someone else's process.
An audit, an honest read, a set of recommendations, and then help getting your existing team to actually execute them.
This is where the network earns its place. Creatives, techies, admin and strategists, briefed and managed by me, so you're dealing with one person rather than seven.
Client words
Placeholder quote. Two or three lines from a client, in their own words, about what actually changed.
Name, BusinessPlaceholder quote. Screenshots of real client messages would work here too, and honestly land better than a polished testimonial.
Name, BusinessGet started
Tell me where your business is at and what's not happening. I'll come back with an honest read on what I'd do first and what it would cost. No pitch deck, no discovery call funnel.
